Conservation and Land Management Act 1984
Section 10

In accordance with section 9(4) of the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984 (CALM Act) the Minister advises of his intention to act under section 10A of the CALM Act.

The Minister for Environment proposes to amend State Forest No. 24 and 25 to rationalise the tenure of Mungalup Road within the Shires of Dardanup and Donnybrook-Balingup. Portions of Mungalup Road is undedicated and has been constructed in State forest. Excising the road from State forest will formalise management with the Shirs of Dardanup and Donnybrook-Balingup.

No road upgrades or impacts to native vegetation are proposed as part of this tenure rationalisation.

The Minister for Environment proposed to excise approximately 32.5 hectares from State Forest No. 24 and 25 will ensure that the alignment of Mungalup Road in the Shire of Dardanup and Donnybrook-Balingup is in a dedicated road reserve. As part of the rationalisation approximately 9.15 hectares unrequired road reserves are proposed to be closed for addition to State Forest No. 25.
