Lying approximately 300km north-north-west of Broome, the Rowley Shoals comprise three oceanic reef systems approximately 30-40 km apart, namely Mermaid Reef, Clerke Reef and Imperieuse Reef. The Rowley Shoals Marine Park comprises the Clerke and Imperieuse Reefs which lie in State Waters.
