The Mamang Maambakoort Marine Park contains a diverse array of marine habitats and communities, including seagrass, macroalgae and reef. Importantly, the marine park is jointly managed with the WKSN Aboriginal Corporation (WKSNAC) through a joint management, the first formal jointly managed reserve with WKSN people.
