ApprovedCovering a total of 3,168 hectares the park consists of three separate locations around Bunbury and the Leschenault Estuary.
The park contains a diverse range of natural, cultural, recreation and landscape values within a coastal, riverine and bushland environment close to urban populations.
Spanning four language groups of the Nyoongar people – Pinjarup, Wadandi, Kaneang and Wiilmen, the area is rich with a range of Aboriginal heritage sites described across the park.
