ApprovedWith over 400 species of plants, this park holds a range of landscapes including banksia woodland, wetlands and rural remnant bushland. Bushwalking and horse riding are popular activities hosted within the park.
The lands of the park were known as the Beeliar District by Nyoongar people. Lakes and wetlands in the Jandakot area were important food and water sources, travel routes and mythological significance.
