This is a revised application, originally lodged 19 April 2024, to construct a stairway within the Crown reserve from 26 Jutland Parade, Dalkeith to the Swan River; and rehabilitate the Crown reserve by weed removal, foreshore stabilisation and planting of endemic species.

Next steps: 

• The application will be referred to relevant agencies. These agencies have 42 days to provide their advice on the proposal.
• The details and assessment of the proposal will be summarised in a draft report to be presented to the Swan River Trust. The draft report will be prepared and made available on the website for public comment for a period of 14 days.
• DBCA’s subsequent final report and recommendation, and all submissions received, will be sent to the Minister for Environment for review and determination. The final report will also be added to the website.
• The Minister’s decision (determination) will be added to the website and agencies and members of the public that made a submission will be notified. The decision process is then complete.
